We went over to check out the Makapuu lighthouse hike & even brought both kids along (I was huffing and puffing with the stroller by the time we reached the top!) The view of windward side was breath-taking though...well worth the trip!
Can barely see Mom & Kennedy's heads here...they went out on one of the cliffs (so brave!)

At one point you could see the ocean in two different directions...it's pretty cool.
This wasn't whale watching season, but people still have sightings all the time.
