Happy Birthday to our little 'Terrible-Wonderful' Two-Year-Old

So Schaffer is now two years old! Wow, I can't believe he was just a little bun in the oven when we first moved on island. Now we've got another little man to follow in his chubby little footsteps. This little dude is such a funny, sweet treat to have around. He makes us laugh all day long, gives the very best kisses, & we don't know how we got along without him before. We LOVE our Schaffer!
He has the cutest expressions. I'm pretty sure this one was saying, "come on, give me a minute to eat some cereal, woman!"
One of my favorites. He's obviously a little scoundrel, but you're powerless against his charm.
Having some cake with Dad (we skyped with him to sing Happy Birthday to Schaffer). He loved it (the singing & blowing out candles that is...he obviously loved the cake!)
Devouring last year's "smash cake." Of course most of these photos were done by my amazingly talented friend Kate (she even edited the ones taken after she left the island!).
Oh my gosh, he looks so small! I think he's even cuter now!
This one is from when he was about 5 months old...looks kind of familiar to the little puppy we've got now!
Here he is with Dad around both their birthdays last year... This was about the time Adam was diagnosed with Guillaine Barre so we didn't have the big party we'd planned (& he got jipped this year too with Dad gone, poor guy). We owe him a great big party for his 3rd birthday.
Adam sent him a new scooter that was the safe, toddler version of Kennedy's razor.
Kennedy spent a quite a while patiently teaching him how to push off with one foot (she's such a sweetheart!). Of course he still prefers to be pushed around with both feet up.
Then he rediscovered his christmas present & the razor was forgotten.
He thoroughly enjoys hanging with big kids, and of course everyone adores Schaffer. Here he's loving being chased by some of his fans. He's simply too cool to warm up to anyone too easily. Good thing I'm his Mom or I'd be "out!"

Oh my goodness, this face. How did we make this kid? His little personality is even better than his "ridiculously good-looking" looks. Happy Birthday Schaffer!
